While you were writing email to customers, that dude behind you started yelling to his phone...

“Yes mom , told you I have a meeting tonight, and I wouldn’t back too late!”

 

“All right then.”

 

Well well, all folks know you're living with your mom now.

 

Having a phone call, especially a private call in a large-bay workplace could be so awkward.
